Yield10 Bioscience CEO Oliver Peoples to Present at the Advanced Bioeconomy Leadership Conference on April 3, 2019

WOBURN, Mass., April 02, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Yield10 Bioscience, Inc. (Nasdaq:YTEN), an agricultural bioscience company which uses its “Trait Factory” to develop high value seed traits for the agriculture and food industries, today announced that Oliver Peoples, Ph.D., president and chief executive officer of Yield10 will present at the Advanced Bioeconomy Leadership Conference (ABLC) 2019 held April 3-5 at the Mayflower Marriott Hotel in Washington,  D.C. 

Dr. Peoples’ presentation is titled “The Yield10 Trait Factory: Deploying Knowledge Gained from Industrial Biotech with Genome-editing to Increase Crop Yield” and will take place on the ABLC Advanced Nutrition & Bioeconomy Feedstocks and Supply Chain track in a panel entitled “Advanced Yields through Technology” on Wednesday April 3, 2019 at 12:40 p.m. Eastern Time.

Dr. Peoples will describe the approaches Yield10 is taking to increase seed yield, oil content and biomass in crops. He will also highlight the Company’s GRAIN technology platform and provide an overview of traits in development by Yield10, including traits potentially accessible through genome-editing and applicable to major crops including canola, corn, soybean, wheat and rice.   

The ABLC conference hosts professionals in policy, finance, partnerships, world class R&D and effective scale-up, spanning major agricultural companies, heads of all the top agricultural trade associations, and key government agencies.
